In the 'Merge Issue' lists it shows 'Merge Pending', Conflicting Data, 'Parent Conflict' etc,

Is there anyway that after we send a merge request out, that it shows 'Merge Request Pending' so we know that we have already worked on that particular issue.

@ragjaws I think we can do this, I'll put it in as a request.

So, if it says merge pending it still has to be straightened out. Right?

#tracy it could be a 'Request to Merge' or a "pending Merge' so it is always good to click on the 'View Profile' to see if it is either.

That really sucks. Even though you have possibly done it once you need to check it again just to be sure. Do they know when they might be able to fix it? Also, what happens to the merge issues when they are accepted and straightened out? Are they added to your family tree?

You have requested merges for profiles that are in already your Tree... when they are merged they still remain in your TREE.

Just remember sometimes you will lose 'MANAGEMENT' of those profiles but you still have EDITING RIGHTS. If you wish Management rights back you can request it by scrolling to the bottom of the Profile.

Remember, when a person CLAIMS their profile by accepting an invitation, they and they only can edit their profiles.

Remember, when a person CLAIMS their profile by accepting an invitation, they and they only can edit their profiles.

Unless they then explicitly allow others to do so: Settings/Permissions. Unfortunately, the choices are only Family and/or Friends.

Apparently missing is the ability to instead designate only specific individuals who can also edit one's profile.
